I am so excited! We have been having a battle with Little K over "clothes" v. "no clothes" and a lot of time it seems like with the "no clothes" option we get a lot of potty accidents! But last night Little K tt'd in the potty for the first time and boy were we excited. I was getting her bath started and so Mr Fix It sat with her and did flash cards with her to keep her attention on the potty. All of the sudden the potty started singing which meant there was "something" and we danced around and praised her all evening long!
But... I'm not ready to throw out the diapers yet... I got her up this morning and sat her on her potty. She didn't want to sit there long and when I left the room to get her clothes and a diaper she walked across the room and tt'd on the floor!!!
I have 9 months to get her potty trained!

NO Paci= Lots of Changes
Little K has been paci free since February 17th! I so wish I would have been smarter and taken them away when she was younger, but hey, we live and learn, right? She asked for her paci for the first few days, but since then we haven't looked back. I will say though that a major downfall of no paci is that her sleeping has not been the same. She sleeps less at night and she rarely takes a nap now. Getting her to sleep at night has been a huge chore. She cries and cries and cries and I end up going in, rocking her for less than 3 mins and then she's asleep! Mr Fix It says she's got my number! I think he may be right. Another habit Little K has picked up since being paci-free, and sleeping less, is she is always taking off her clothes. My child LOVES to be naked and we are constantly fighting with her to make her keep her clothes on. Constantly. This morning she woke up at 6am. I heard her and was hoping since it was early she would go back to sleep so I didn't get up. It got quiet and I didn't hear her again until after 7. I got up, went in her room to get her, and I was SO surprised at what I saw! There was my sweet little girl naked, her clothes and diaper on the floor, and to my horror poo poo in the bed!!!!!!!!!!! The first thing Little K said was "shew" followed by her asking for a wipe. I guess you could say its been a messy morning.
