11 Months Old

Little C turned 11 months old on December 28th... Wow.... what a busy little guy he is.

He is into to every thing and so curious.  He LOVES to eat and anytime he sees anyone with food he will crawl over and start grunting for food.  He is is saying MaMa and DaDa but that's about it.  He doesn't seem all that interested in walking yet, but I'm sure it won't be long. :))

10 Months Old

Little C turned 10 months old on the 28th.  He is such a sweet guy and such a lover! On the other hand... he is a wild man with a pretty strong temper too.  He has two bottom teethe and he has been cutting I don't know how many more. Poor guy- He is miserable and because he's miserable..... we're all miserable.  He's not sleeping and he stands in his bed and SCREAMS at the top of his lungs.  Where did our boy go who went to bed at 7pm and slept happily until 7am?  He is pulling up on every thing and cruising around the room.  He wants to follow his big sister every where she goes and loves to play in her room.  If he gets hurt.... he wants his mama :)) If he's hungry... he wants his mama.  If he wants his diaper changed.... he wants his mama. Pretty much he's a mama's boy, but his eyes light up and he smiles a huge smile when he sees his daddy too! He is a good eater and has 4 bottles a day plus food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  He weighs over 19 lbs and is in the 50th percentile in height and weight. He has added so much more joy to our home and I can't not wait until our first Christmas with him this year!!

A Heart of Thanksgiving

It seems impossible to me that we have already said goodbye to Thanksgiving 2011.  Mr Fix-It and I were talking yesterday about how this year seems to have gone by so much faster than any year since we have been married.  Little C is 10 months today... we have a 3 1/2 yr old.... and we're about to celebrate our first Christmas as a family of 4! God has blessed us over this past year so much more than we deserved and I have a grateful heart!

Growing & Growing

We had Little C's 9 month appointment and he is growing into such a big boy! He was 19lbs and 27 3/4 inches long. He is such a wild man but he also loves to cuddle. He lets you know what he wants, when he wants it and he's got a  temper to match it. :)) We had to lower his bed last night when we realized he could  pull up on the side.  I am afraid he's going to be a handful- a sweet handful!  Here's a little bit of what Caleb's been up to...

All Things Pumpkin

We had our annual family pumpkin carving and Little K really got involved this year!  She enjoyed getting in there and getting dirty!  She was very creative and was also very disturbed at her daddy's pumpkin.  She kept asking why the daddy pumpkin was eating the baby pumpkin. :))

The Day of.....

Oh, What a fun day we had!  It was a little challenging to encourage Little K to pick a costume.  She kept wanting to change from day to day until we found the perfect costume for her!

We took the kids to our church's Trunk Or Treat and there was tons to do!

Fun was had by all and so we say goodbye to Halloween 2011!

A *Spooky* 9 Month Birthday

Little C is 9 months old today! It seems completely insane that he is already 9 months old when I feel like we were just leaving the hospital with him last week.  Isn't that how every mother feels?  I have heard so many people say that it is so different when there are two and I have to agree.  For one, time flies by. I have woken up and my "first baby" is now 3 and our "second baby" is almost 1! Man, oh, man! Secondly, I kind of compare it to having kittens... one is a lot of fun to watch, but two makes thing so much more entertaining.  Of course, the other side of that is that there isn't just one "mess" to clean up, there are now DOUBLE the messes to try and clean up.  For a clean-freak it has definitely been a challenge :)) and I am trying oh so hard to just learn to let things go.
Here's a little bit of what Little C is up to:

You want to be on the move ALL the time and you do not like to be left in the room when everyone walks out and leaves you.

You love sweet potatoes, carrots, all fruit and green peas.

You cry when someone takes something away from you.

You have two bottom teeth.

You already want to follow your daddy around and be his little helper.

If you get your feelings hurt you cry and cry and you hold a grudge.  :))

You are army crawling and your favorite room to be in is your big sisters! (Uh Oh)

You SCREAM at the top of your lungs when you feel like you are being ignored.

Most of the time you are a very easy, laid back, happy baby that loves to explore.

You are going through a clingy phase and you will choose me over anyone else. 

I'm pretty sure you said Mama yesterday! WOOO HOOOO

You are a great sleeper.  You got to be at 7:30 pm and sleep until 8 am most mornings.

It's Fall Yall

It's been busy here and we have been out trying to enjoy the cool down in the weather.  We've taken long walks, rode bikes, gone  hiking, and finished the back side of our privacy fence. And... big news here- Little C has TWO bottom teeth! Wooo Whooo!
