He swims like a fish..... well, not really

We have a pool in our backyard and that alone scares me to death.  Then on top of that we have kids that LOVE the pool in our backyard.  Because of those 2 facts we have been strong believers in teaching our little ones how to survive if they were to ever fall into the pool.  We put Little K through the Infant Swimming Resource program (ISR) before she turned One and now we are doing the same thing for Little C.  We have his lessons Monday through Friday for 10 mins and he has one on one lessons with his instructor. I was so anxious to see how he was going to do.  His big sister cried every single day all 6 weeks so I couldn't wait to see if Little C would fall into his big sister's footsteps.  Well, we are on week 5 and he has pretty much followed the same path up until this past week.  He doesn't SCREAM bloody murder now in the pool!

If you know anyone that would be interested in these types of lessons pass along this website...

Because of this program I have no doubt in my mind that either one of my children got out of my eye sight and fell into a pool or any body of water the would simply flip over on their back and scream for help.  Little K could actually swim to the side and get herself out... thanks to ISR refresher courses every summer she swims like a fish and loves to jump off of the diving board and can almost swim the length of the pool!
